Check this bike-parking shelter bizness going on over at Streetsblog. Like, whoa. Notice all the virtual bikes are fixed-gears, possibly even track bikes. Hahahahaha, love it. How many bikes can you realistically lock up in that thing? Six? At any rate, I take it as a great sign that bikes as realistic modes of tranportation are on elected officials, as well as DOT's minds.

wow. seems nice, but then again, it's kind of laughable. 8 bikes? ha ha. does every Duane Reade in town get a rack out front- just like every Duane Reade has a Chase ATM inside?!
