Good Morning, Sunshine!
I didn't hear my alarm go off this morning. No, not because of more marching bands. Rather because of a motor pool of Dept. of Sanitation vehicles plus one other "civilian" truck noisily idling outside my window for at least five minutes.
Why the hold-up? Well, because of another Dept. of Sanitation vehicle, naturally.

Ahahahahjaskldfhdjslaf! Naturally! This is an interesting turn on things. New Yorkers can sleep through anything (except Sarah P.). Including their alarms when they are blocked out by city noises.
