ebay and upstairs

(i'm still really f'in sick. the chalzion on my eye isn't getting smaller. bluck.)

my upstairs neighbor has a new obsession: ebay. every day for about the past 2 weeks she has been getting anywhere from 4 to 6 packages delivered to her. no hyperbole here, every day, 4 to 6 packages. j. finally ran into her to ask what was going on and my suspicions were confirmed, she's buying stuff from ebay. the boxes range in size, none of them overly large, but many the size of, i don't know, a large toaster. i wonder about her motivations. to avert boredom, ease lonliness? who knows, maybe she's just ocd.
